Letter: Thank You to the North End Athletic Association

LETTER OF THANKS
To
John Romano “JR” & The North End Athletic Association
For Dedicating Baseball/Family Day In Memory Of
Ralph “Arzie-Bo” DeMarco

Dear JR ,

We want to thank you and the NEAA for honoring our father, Ralph with such a beautiful tribute. Everything was wonderful from the food and drinks, the flyer with his picture, children singing the national anthem, gifting us with a baseball shirt engraved with our surname, allowing three great-grandchildren to throw out the first ball, and taking lots of memorable pictures. We know that such a successful day does not happen with ease. It took a lot of time and effort to plan, organize, collect donations, and find volunteers to assist. JR, we are so grateful for all of your hard work and kindness, and for all those who helped.

This event truly touched our hearts! We heard great stories from players that our father coached. Many were funny and made us laugh. Some stories were very touching, especially when players said that he treated them like they were his children. Also, that he was their best coach and mentor. It reminded us how much he was loved by the community, and is still missed. We are so appreciative to you and the NEAA for this magnificent day.

Most of all, thank you for bestowing an unforgettable treasured memory that will live in our hearts forever.

Yours truly,
The DeMarco’s
Eleanor, Lorraine, Rosemarie, Diane, Ralph
