Gas Leak on Commercial Street Brings Extensive 24 Hour Street Work

National Grid had been working 24 hours to resolve a major gas leak on Commercial Street between The Mariner and Union Wharf properties. Crews have been working since Sunday night to repair the underground gas pipes. A second excavation is underway with work expected to continue into Tuesday.
