Surrounded by enthusiastic supporters, mayoral candidate John Connolly spoke at a North End / Waterfront campaign fundraiser on Tuesday night at Billy Tse’s Restaurant. Attracting many neighborhood residents and business owners, the reception was organized by Nasser Buisier, Billy Tse, Vito Ascolillo, Carmela Laurella and Stephen DeAngelis. Connolly gave a brief speech emphasizing issues surrounding jobs, better schools, public safety, the economy, workforce housing, BRA transparency and attracting businesses to Boston. The November 5, 2013 election will decide between John Connolly and Marty Walsh for Boston’s next mayor.
