NEAA Senior RBI Dodgers and Junior Dodgers (13-15) Advance to Championships

The NEAA Senior RBI Dodgers stormed into the championship round by sweeping the Mission Hill Pirates 2-0 in their best of three. The Dodgers won game one 15-9 behind an offense led by Vin Lopriore, Nick Iudiciani, James Ditomassi Ryan Colbert and Anthony Coppola. Each of the players had multiple hits with Coppola’s bases clearing double to the right center field gap perhaps the biggest hit of them all. Game two was all Dodgers as Vin Lopi took the mound for the first time since his no-hitter and proceeded to strike out 14 Pirates in five innings of work. It was yet another masterpiece for Lopriore who has elevated himself to superstar status among the local baseball leagues. Contributions from Robert Pagliuca, Eli Swab, Jack Ditomassi and Nick Iudiciani have been a constant for the Dodgers during the semi-final round. The Dodgers meet the Nationals for a best of three Championship series starting this weekend.

The NEAA Junior Dodgers (13-15) have advanced to the championship series of the RBI league to face the South End Astros. The Dodgers team led by Robert Pagliuca, Anthony Freni, Kurt Martin and Eli Swab have scrapped and fought all year and now find themselves one series away from a title. Big contributions from Lorenzo Pantaleo, Timmy Mart, Brett McAllister, and Chris Troiano have also helped the Dodgers close in on their goal. As usual to go this far you need contributions for your full team and the youngest Dodgers led by Colman Shea, Vincent Coppola, Jase Cherchi and JC Pezzuto keep chipping in with big hits and big defensive plays. The Dodgers will begin their best of three series this weekend
