For the second year in a row, Joi Salon at 2 Atlantic Ave. (Lewis Wharf) will be holding a service event, Joi of Summer, to benefit the Nazzaro Community Center. Each service will include a $20 donation on August 14, 2013 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Last year, the event raised nearly $3,000 for the center. Owner Erica Harris and manager Jessica Chisholdm have also planned light fare and cocktails from local eateries along with great raffle items. Call 617-723-6330 to schedule priority booking.
