Around 9:00 on Wednesday night, a limousine caught fire on Commercial Street, near the intersections of North and Salutation Streets. The limo driver said the dashboard started smoking so he pulled over. The dash then caught fire so he grabbed his belongings and those of a customer, got out and called the fire department. Boston Fire came and put out the fire. At one point the entire limo was engulfed in flames. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The limo driver estimates the damage to be about $80,000. Street fights, double rainbows and now limo fires – lots of action on Commercial Street!
