The City of Boston has issued a Heat Wave Advisory (as if we didn’t know it was hot). More importantly, if you or someone you know is suffering from this heat, they can go to one of the City’s “Cooling Centers” that will stay open until 10 p.m. The closest is the Nazarro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street (617) 635-5166.
The City has also extended the hours for pools, including the Mirabella Pool in the North End. Open until 9 p.m. (usual closing time 7 p.m.).
