The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be conducting milling and paving operations at various intersections from North Street to Salem Street including Blackstone Street on Surface Road.
The work will occur nightly between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. from Tuesday, September 22, through Thursday, October 1, excluding Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26.
The work will require temporary lane closures with some temporary pedestrian detours of adjoining side streets. Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
