1:00PM Friday Film: Two for the Road (1967). Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for their Friday Film Series. This Friday’s film will be Two for the Road – a movie about a couple in the south of France who non-sequentially spin down the highways of infidelity in their troubled ten-year marriage.
1:00PM Submerged: Boston Sites and the Threat of Climate Change. Join Old South Meeting House, Boston Harbor Now and the Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands for part of the series The Boston Harbor Islands – Resilience and Change, see additional information here.
6:00PM Mary Taylor Simeti – The Garlands of the Gods. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street where Mary Taylor Simeti will discuss her book The Garlands of the Gods.
7:00PM Boston Common Collaborative Halloween Party. Boston Community Collaborative (BCC) will host its 7th annual Halloween Party at Filippo’s Restaurant. There will be a costume contest, live music, great food and company. Must be 21 or older to attend, see additional details here.

10:30AM I Piccoli Lettori – Italian reading group for little ones. Join I AM Books for its Italian reading group for little ones! Children (0-4) and their parents will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning.
12:00PM 7th Annual Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest. Faneuil Hall Marketplace will host the 7th annual Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest in the West End of the Marketplace. Pet owners are invited to dress their pets in Halloween costumes and parade around Faneuil Hall Marketplace, see additional information here.
1:00PM 68th North End Halloween Party & Parade at Hanover & Battery Street. The 68th North End Halloween Party and Parade will be held start at Hanover & Battery Streets, sponsored by the Madonna Della Cava Society and the Mayor’s Office. Leading the parade will be members from the Saint Alfio’s Band with music selections ranging from Ghostbusters, Mickey Mouse, When Saints Come Marching In and, of course, the Italian feast procession favorites.
6:00PM IAWA Literary Reading and Open Mic. Join I AM Books at 189 North Street where the Italian American Writers Assoc. holds its monthly literary reading and open mic featuring author Maria Mazziotti Gillan.

12:00PM North End Sons/Daughters of Italy BINGO. The North End Sons/Daughters of Italy are hosting a BINGO fundraiser at the Nazzaro Center, see additional details here.
1:00PM 27Teas Pop-Up. Based in NH, 27teas is a loose-leaf tea company that helps support global clean water initiatives.They will be at Shake the Tree at 67 Salem Street sampling and selling their tea blends.
1:00PM Halloween on the Harbor. Join the New England Aquarium for a special afternoon filled with activities, costumes, and your favorite exhibits inside the Aquarium. Members can make the day extra special with tickets to our member-exclusive area in the Harbor View Terrace Tent. Seniors Movie Matinee at the Nazzaro Center
On Monday October 28 from 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. the Nazzaro Center will be hosting its first movie matinee for seniors age 55 & up.
The center will be showing The House on Haunted Hill (1959) starring Carolyn Craig, Vincent Price, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Julie Mitchum, Alan Marshal, Leona Anderson, Elisha Cook Jr. and Howard Hoffmann. The running time is 1hr 15minutes, continue reading.
