North End Against Drugs (NEAD) and the BCYF Nazzaro Center Teen Programs combined to take twenty teens and chaperones on a scarily good trip to Canobie Lake Park to Screeemfest 2019.
The teens had an awesome time and truth be told, the chaperones had just as much fun! The two organizations are working collaboratively in order to provide fun, safe and affordable activities for North End teenagers.
This event, held on Friday, October 18, was generously supported by the North Street Grille Neighborhood Nights program, North End Athletic Association, NEAD and the Nazzaro Center Board of Directors, as well as BCYF Nazzaro Center. Teens only had to pay for a little less than half the cost of the entry fee.
The two organizations are already planning trips for November and December. BCYF offers daily programming for teenagers; for more information contact Michelle at the Center at (617) 635-5166. Special thanks go out to Michelle Deveau of the Nazzaro Center’s Teen Program for organizing the trip as well as to Manny Montrond from Nazzaro Center and John Pregmon and Maria Lanza from NEAD for chaperoning.
