Summer in the city has slipped away from us. The days are getting shorter. There’s an indisputable chill in the air when I wake in the mornings, now. Unlike some, I’m not sad about the season change. Fall is my favorite time of year; a precursor to the long slumber that is winter. Every September, the whole world seems to stretch, yawn, slide into bed, and snuggle up for warmth — candles lit, book in hand, a cup of tea steaming on the nightstand. Climb on in, darling.
