Here’s what you need to know for the week ahead…
A longtime city official, John M. Lynch, 66 from the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA, formerly the BRA), pleaded guilty in federal court with taking a $50,000 bribe from a developer to push an unnamed project through the Zoning Board of Appeal (ZBA). The ZBA is the forum where developers look for variances to make their projects larger and more valuable while community residents generally argue against excessive height and density. 3:00PM Kids’ LEGO Club. Stop by the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street and drop in after school to build whatever you can imagine using LEGOS and DUPLOs.
