Boston’s 12th Annual GreenFest, a three-day festival to raise awareness and educate individuals on how to be more environmentally conscious, was held on the Rose Kennedy Greenway over the weekend of August 16-18, 2019.

Organized by Foundation for a Green Future, the GreenFest featured vendors promoting their sustainable and eco-friendly products for attendees to enjoy.

Transplanted sold plant arrangements out of it’s roaming greenhouse called Sprout to support the Foundation for a Green Future. Eversource offered residents the option of turning in their old LED lights and replacing them for free. SmartFlower Solar demonstrated their intelligent sculptural solar panels.

An EcoFashion Show was held at the Christopher Columbus Park on August 17, 2019. Local and regional designers showcased their approach to eco-friendly pieces, inspired by reducing waste and saving resources. The EcoFashion Show drew an excited crowd of spectators as the models walked the runway wearing their unique outfits. See a selection of the pieces in the photo gallery below.
