Faneuil Hall Marketplace has announced the third annual “Movie Musicals at the Marketplace” will take place every Thursday this summer beginning August 1 to August 22.
The West End of the Marketplace will be transformed into an outdoor movie theatre where visitors can enjoy free movies with pre-show activities starting at 7:30 p.m. and movies beginning at dusk. Pre-show activities include trivia and a photo-op on the red carpet with special guests including drag queens, cosplayers and comics.
Weekly prizes include admission tickets for the Dreamland Wax Museum, The Greenway Carousel and FAN EXPO Boston, which takes place August 16 to 18, plus gift certificates to UnoDe50 and Wagamama at the Marketplace.
The August 8th show will feature “FAN EXPO Boston Night” where cosplayers (costumed characters) will greet guests before the start of the film Hairspray and FAN EXPO Boston Director of Cosplay Pat Covey will MC the event.
