Retired World Series MVP, three-time All-Star and LA Dodgers’ pitcher Orel Hershiser stopped for pizza at Antico Forno in the North End this past Saturday. Hershiser was in town for the Red Sox – Dodgers series. The Sox beat the Dodgers 8-1 in Friday night’s game, but the Dodgers came roaring back, beating the Sox 11-2 on Saturday and 7-4 on Sunday.

Hershiser was part of the Dodgers’ 1988 World Series Championship team, the same year they swept the Boston Red Sox to win the American League Championship Series.

The Oakland A’s—an American League team—swept the Sox in the 1988 ALCS. 😉
