New Public Art at Central Wharf: Growth Rings

A new public art project, Growth Rings, will be unveiled at Central Wharf Park, 250 Atlantic Avenue, on Friday, June 28 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The art project features three rings suspended between the trunks of the oak trees in this square. These “growth rings” are meant to represent the cycle of life as well as recognize mankind’s connectivity with nature and the trees.

The project is produced by Now + There, designed specifically for this site by Oscar Tuazon, and guest curated by Pedro Alonzo. Read more about the artwork at
