Eliot 8th Graders Wrap Up School Year with Promotion Ceremony

The Eliot School held their eighth grade promotion ceremony at the Old North Church, just up the street from the Upper School where the students completed their studies.

District One City Councilor Lydia Edwards was the ceremony’s guest speaker, and a few Eliot sixth graders took on the role of ushers.

Eliot sixth grade ushers at the ceremony, Travis, Elia, Kajia and Amelia.

Principal Traci Walker Griffith thanked all the Eliot School supporters and said about the 8th graders, “We are proud of who our grade 8 students are today and who they will become tomorrow!”

The Jiminez family celebrates with Michael, Grade 8, Marlin (Eliot Alum), Martin (Eliot alum) and Manny (Eliot Grade 4).
