The Saint Anthony’s Society held a special gala last weekend to launch this Summer’s festivities in celebration of the 100th St. Anthony’s Feast. Begun in 1919, by Italian immigrants from the small town of Montefalcione in Avellino, Saint Anthony’s Feast has become the largest Italian Religious Festival in New England. The black-tie Centennial gala was held at the Long Wharf Marriott with music by Vinyl Groove, honorary presentations, exclusive raffle packages and a 100th birthday cake.

Old North’s 2012 Lantern Ceremony Honors Home Base Program – Photos
In celebration of Patriot’s Day, Old North Church hosted the 237th Anniversary Annual Lantern Ceremony on Sunday, April 17, 2012.
