What a weird week of weather we’ve had! With almost borderline Winter weather, I think we’re all pretty sick of the cold weather. I mean, I went to the Red Sox game on Tuesday and I had to wear three layers. It’s May! This weekend, it looks like it’s going to warm up a bit, even if it does rain. So let’s hope it stays warm for an enjoyable weekend!

This weekend the HBO mega-show comes to an end. Game of Thrones will finish its final season on Sunday, so what better way to celebrate the end than trying to win at some trivia! Head to Hurricane’s at the Garden for some GoT trivia if you’re a superfan who thinks they can win!

Esplanade 5K 2019
Are you a runner? There’s a 5K on Saturday along the Charles River Esplanade. “This course takes a scenic riverfront route with spectacular views of the Longfellow Bridge, Boston and Cambridge skyline, and Esplanade lagoons during the spring bloom season. The finish line is perfectly photogenic, set against the backdrop of the Charles River. All proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Esplanade Association’s work to “revitalize, enhance, program, and maintain the Charles River Esplanade.” See here for more information.

Super Hero Day at The Franklin Park Zoo

SoWa Open Market Kick Off
175 farmers, makers, specialty food makers, and food trucks will make appearances at the SoWa Open Market kick off for the 2019 season. The first 55 customers will receive a free pint glass so make sure to be there early! Learn more about SoWa here.
