5:00PM Poetry of Martin Scorsese’s “Mean Streets” at the North End Library. David Blair’s new book of essays Walk Around discusses Scorsese’s 1973 film Mean Streets as a poetic text and touchstone toward understanding urban geographies and as an introduction to personal art. David will join film series curator Barry Marshall to introduce the movie with a reading from his work about watching Mean Streets in Pittsburgh.
6:00PM Free Reiki Session at Mariner’s House. There will be a free Reiki clinic at the Mariners House, 11 North Square, 6-8 pm. 2nd floor. Refreshments will be provided. Your neighbor and Reiki Master, Sunny Davidson.
6:30PM Friends of NE Library Meeting. The Friends of the North End Library will hold a meeting at 25 Parmenter Street.
