5:00PM Public Hearing on Independent Education Plans. Members of the public are cordially invited to attend and testify at a hearing regarding independent education plans in the Boston Public Schools, see additional details here.

5:15 Boston Civic Design Commission Monthly Meeting. The BCDC is holding a meeting to discuss the public realm impacts of major projects currently being reviewed by the BPDA. Committee meetings are open to the public and this meeting will include a discussion on the dock square garage project, see additional details here.

Thursday, April 4

Books in Bloom Spring Open House. Drop in during the Spring Open House for informal tours by the Friends of the North End Library to see our celebration of live flowers and to acquaint you with our unique library and learn about the many excellent services the library has to offer or just walk at your leisure among the beautiful bouquets, see additional details here.

5:00PM North Street Grille Neighborhood Night. Join North Street Grille for their Neighborhood Night on the first Thursday of every night when 30% of all sales will go back to the neighborhood, see additional details here.

6:00PM International Poetry Night featuring Tino Villanueva. Stop by I AM Books at 189 North Street for an international night of poetry celebrating National Poetry Month. The evening will kick off with an open mic, welcoming poets to read in any language they prefer (a little explanation of poems in English will be appreciated!). The second half of the evening will be dedicated to the poetry of Tino Villanueva, with readings by the poet in English and Italian.
