The MFA Presents: Roma
The ten-time Oscar nominated film Roma will be playing at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) this weekend. The film won Oscars for best director, foreign language film, and best cinematography. Roma debuted on Netflix and sparked a debate about whether Netflix films can win Oscars like films being shown in theaters.
When: 7:30 p.m. – 9:50 p.m.

Primark Boston’s Iron Throne from Game of Thrones
The final season of Game of Thrones began last week. This weekend, Primark Boston is hosting a costume contest with the potential to win a free gift. The first 50 GoT themed costumes on Friday will receive a free Funko-Pop figure after they take a photo on the Iron Throne.

Easter Egg Truffle Making Workshop
Celebrate Easter with Taza Chocolate and The KITCHEN with a truffle rolling class! This is a family-friendly event – children 5+ are welcome to join with at least one adult. Anime Boston
For those who love the Japanese animation style of Anime, there is an entire convention every year that has the sole purpose of celebrating the art style. The event runs all weekend featuring artists, cosplay, games, and much more. For more information about the event, head to their website.

South Boston Public Library Book Sale
The South Boston branch of the Boston Public Library is hosting a book sale this Saturday. The prices are low and their books have got to go, so if you’re itching for some new books on the cheap, this is the place to be on Saturday. All proceeds from the event go to the South Boston branch.
