Neighborhood Council March 11 Agenda: 2 Snelling Place, Old North Application for Grant to Build Fountain, Introduction to Study of Nazzaro Center Building

The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet Street.

At this month’s meeting, the Council will hear a petition for a one-story addition and roof deck at 2 Snelling Place. Additionally, Rev. Ayres will present on Old North’s application for a fabrication grant, and there will be an introduction to the Boston Architectural College’s Grant Program’s study of the Nazzaro Center building. Also of note, election nomination papers for the Neighborhood Council will be available this month. The date of distribution has been moved up one month, from April to March, to give candidates more time to collect signatures.

  1. Interesting how with the 2 Snelling Place proposal the agenda lists Dan Toscano, lists a different Snelling Place resident, but fails to list the name of the petitioner, either by name or company.

    I am guessing the petitioner provided the blurb? And surely variances are not granted just because someone else with diffeeent circumstances was granted a variance? Aren’t they supposed to be exceptions?
