North End bookstore I AM Books is organizing IDEA Boston – a two-day cultural festival celebrating literature, history, art and more all focused around Italian and Italian-American culture.
The event will take place Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 at the Dante Alighieri Society at 41 Hampshire Street in Cambridge.
In speaking about the festival, I AM Books co-founder Nicola Orichuia said:
“IDEA Boston represents what we do at the bookstore day in and day out. We offer culture through our books but also organize events on a weekly basis. We thought it was time to create a bigger event where we could highlight some of the best authors and most inspiring topics we came across over the years.”
There will be 18 presentations, a theatrical performance, a silent film screening, 50 speakers and a grand final party. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here.
