Join the North End’s Eliot School at il Molo on Sunday, November 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for “An Evening for Education”.
This event marks the beginning of the Eliot School’s annual fundraising and targets a specific need at the school. This year’s theme is to “Innovate and Create Art”. The goal of this year’s Arts Expansion Initiative is to foster the students’ talents and imaginations to bring meaningful art and expression to our community.
The Eliot School plans to create a Digital Arts and Media Studio at the new 585 Commercial Street school, opening in September 2019, and will add another Artist in Residence at this school. The studio will offer state-of-the-art design resources and software, collaborative workstations, artists’ desks, high-resolution dot and laser printers, and more.
An Evening for Education is hosted by Donato Frattaroli and his son Donato Frattaroli Jr. at Il Molo Restaurant. 90+Cellars also sponsors the event. For more information or to reserve your seats, contact Jennifer McGivern at jennifermcgivern@hotmail.com.
