6:00PM America’s Little Italies: Past, Present, and Future. Stop by the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street where Jerome Krase will discuss his nearly fifty years visiting and photographing locations in America and abroad which have identifiable Italian neighborhoods. In this presentation, we’ll take a look at the origins of these “little Italies” and what the future may hold for them, see additional details here.
6:30PM Public Meeting: 41 N. Margin Street (Knights of Columbus Hall). The Boston Planning & Development Agency will hold a public meeting at 41 North Margin Street (Knights of Columbus Hall) regarding the conversion this building into a five-story, mixed-use development that would contain 23 senior affordable housing units and a renovated Knights of Columbus Hall.
6:30PM Liberty Teas and Nervous Collectors: The Townshend Act. Stop by the Old South Meeting House at 310 Washington Street for the Free Lowell Lecture Series presented by the Paul Revere Memorial Association. This year our annual fall lecture series examines Boston’s reaction to the Townshed Acts, upon their 250th anniversary. This interactive, first-person presentation will feature costumed actors from The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.
