Don’t forget to cast your vote in the state primaries for who you want to see on the November ballot for the positions of Massachusetts governor, state legislature and U.S. congress. Wednesday, September 5th

6:00PM North End Community Forum at the Nazzaro Center. A North End Community Forum will be held regarding the community preservation and finding funds to support historic preservation, affordable housing and open space, see additional details here.

6:30PM “A Certain Sloop Called the Liberty”: Charles Townsend, John Hancock and the Boston Maderia Party. There will be a free Lowell Lecture Series presented by the Paul Revere Memorial Association at the Old South Meeting House. This year the annual fall lecture series examines Boston’s reaction to the Townshed Acts, upon their 250th anniversary.

Thursday, September 6th

First Day of School (BPS)

10:00AM Gentle Yoga at Christopher Columbus Park. Stop by Christopher Columbus Park for a free gentle yoga class for all levels.

3:00PM NEMPAC Open House. Stop by the North End Music and Performing Arts Center at 16 Charter Street for the fall 2018 open house. Enjoy a meet-and-greet with staff and featured faculty.

6:00PM Swing Dancing at Faneuil Hall. Learn lindy hop from Dan and Mike Legenthal while enjoying live music provided by the Easy Winners. The lesson and dance are free. No partner necessary, and beginners are very welcome. Lessons are from 6:00pm to 6:45pm and dancing with live music from 7pm to 8:30pm outside Wagamama on South Market.

6:00PM NE Public Safety Meeting at the Nazzaro Center. Stop by the Nazzaro Center for the North End public safety meeting with Boston Police Area A-1.
