Neighborhood Photo: Casarecce Ristorante Opening Soon at Former Pinkberry Space on Hanover Street

Casarecce Ristorante will soon open at the former Pinkberry location at 283-285 Hanover Street.

The owners of Pellino’s Ristorante purchased this property last year and received support from the Residents’ Association in January to renovate the location to a 30-seat Italian restaurant with fresh pasta made on the premises.

Pinkberry lasted just three years at the Hanover Street location before closing their doors in 2016. The fro-yo chain had struggled to gain traction in this land of gelato and cannolis.

Fr. David Costello, St. Stephen’s rector, in front of St. Stephen’s Church on Hanover Street, which is undergoing renovations to its historic Bulfinch bell tower. The land on which the church sits has been a worshiping site for the past 300 years, dating back to the 1700s when it was used for a Congregational Society. Read More…
