The following are recent incidents reported by Boston Police District A-1 for the North End / Waterfront area.

Liquor Violations / Possession of Class D Marijuana
08/18/18 10:30 p.m.
Police officers working the North End Feast Patrol stopped three minors at Commercial Street and Copp’s Hill Terrace. One of the teen suspects had a large bottle of vodka and a bag of Class D marijuana. He was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and issued a citation for city ordinance violation for possession Class D marijuana under one ounce. Suspect #2 was issued an ordinance violation for Class D marijuana under one ounce. Suspect #3 was released as not in possession of alcohol or drugs.
Aggravated Assault and Battery
08/11/18 1:10 a.m.
Police Officers responded to Hanover Street for an assault in progress. The victims (3) reported that, while walking down Hanover Street, they were approached by (3) male suspects who started a verbal argument with them. At this time, the suspects began to fight with them. One of the victims was punched and kicked as he fell to the ground. Victim was transported to Tufts Medical Center for treatment of mouth and nose injuries.
Job well done by police this year. The heavy police presence throughout the neighborhood during the feasts has made a world of difference this year compared with last. Thank you.
