It was a packed event at the sold-out fundraiser for the Friends of the North End Branch Library held on Wednesday night at the Fairmont Battery Wharf Hotel. Friends of the North End Library are looking for volunteers to teach local children chess lessons at the Library every other Tuesday from 4:00-5:00 beginning in March.
