Dismal First Night Spurs Plans for Return of Harbor Fireworks Next Year

The reviews for First Night 2017 at Copley Square were less than enthusiastic. But, there appears to be new interest in bringing back midnight harbor fireworks for next year. Fireworks Chaos at the Gassy, DeFilippo Playground

Boston Police and Fire Departments responded when procession fireworks caused a trash fire early on Sunday evening at the park on Prince Street in the North End, known as the Gassy and DeFilippo Playground.
