North Bennet Street School Annual Celebration of Craft

The North Bennet Street School (NBSS) Annual Celebration of Craft will be on display for nearly two months, taking place at two venues: Two International Place in the Financial District from May 7 – 23, and then at the Windgate Gallery in the North End from June 4 – 30.

As part of this celebration, the Student & Alumni Exhibit features hand-carved chairs and cabinetry, jewelry in silver and gold, leather-bound books, handmade violins, and more. Over 50 artisans hailing from regions around the globe are represented in the show. Notably, select artisan pieces from the Trustees of Reservations’ recent Conversations in Craft exhibit will be included among the masterful work.

This is first time in the 19-year history of the celebration that the exhibit will travel between two locations, offering broader access to the community.

Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public. Sponsorships and tickets are available for a special Opening Reception on Thursday, May 10 at Two International Place. For more information on this event, visit nbss.edu/ACC2018.
