Boston Lyric Opera just released new details about its Spring 2018 Season.
The upcoming season will include a new production of theater-staple The Threepenny Opera helmed in March by rising LA-based director James Darrah, and a first-time pairing/blending of two Leonard Bernstein works, Trouble in Tahiti and Arias and Barcarolles.
Trouble in Tahiti / Arias and Barcarolles will be presented as a cabaret May 11-20 at the DCR Steriti Memorial Rink in Boston’s North End. The Boston Lyric Opera previously used the Steriti rink to rehearse CARMEN back in 2016.
Production details and ticket information for both performances can be found at www.blo.org.
