2:00PM Friday Film “Broadway Danny Rose” at North End Branch Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for their Friday film series. This week’s film will feature The Secret of Santa Vittoria from 1969.

6:00PM The Routledge History of Italian Americans. Join I AM Books and Authors Stanisalo Pugliese and William Connell at 189 North St. as they discuss the trials and triumphs of one of the nation’s largest ethnic groups with the Routledge History of Italian Americans.

These Classic Dive Bars Are Pure Boston

As new chic restaurants and pubs pop up across Boston, the number of dive bars are quickly diminishing. NECN did a round up of the 15 more classic dive bars featuring the North End’s own Corner Cafe as the perfect spot for people looking for a break from the typical high-end atmosphere of the neighborhood.

A Rising Star: Lydia Edwards Ready to Lead as City Councilor

10:30AM I Piccooli Lettori. Join I Am Books at 189 North Street for its Italian reading group for children ages 0-4 and their parents. Together, the group will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning.

5:00PM Planes, Trains and Automobiles Movie at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The iconic Thanksgiving classic, “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” will be shown outdoors from 5:00pm -7:00pm. to get everyone in the holiday mood.
