It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Sumner Halpert, 94, who passed away during October 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife Dr. Selma Rutenburg and daughter Margaret Dara among mourning family and friends.
Mr. Halpert was a resident of downtown Boston at Harbor Towers. He was also an active member of several neighborhood organizations including the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park and North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

Leonard was a gentlemen and a wonderful customer for us at Atlantic Associates Real Estate many years ago, always a pleasure to chat with him and his wife during their walks thru the neighborhood.
