Friends Of The North End (FONE) held their Spring / Summer bocce banquet on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. This event was held at the Flaming Grill Buffet Restaurant in Revere, MA and was attended by all FONE bocce players and guests.

Members of the winning Team #1 were given championship certificates and gifts for excellence in Bocce.

FONE Bocce will continue through the winter months, every Sunday morning, at the Steriti Rink indoor bocce courts. All members are invited to attend and spectators are also welcome. This will lead into the Spring/Summer tournament beginning in late May, 2018.

At the North End’s Langone Park, the Boston Globe’s Alex Katz profiles bocce regulars, Natale DeMarco, Salvatore Cucciniello and Jim Luisi.
