November’s book is Sherman Alexie’s 2008 “Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian” and explores Native American identity through the eyes life of Arnold Spirit, who leaves his troubled school on the Spokane Indian Reservation to attend an all-white school where the only other Native American is the school mascot. Copies can be picked up at the library’s front desk.
