Boston Community Collaborative’s 5th Annual FUNraiser – a Great Time!

Guests had a great time at Boston Community Collaborative’s fifth Annual Halloween Costume party FUNraiser.  This year’s party was October 27th at Filippo’s and was sponsored by BCC.  Many guests contributed generously to help cover costs.  Everyone in attendance was treated to a lovely dinner, great company and a GREAT live band, Hula-la featuring Tom Poitras of The Toe Jam Puppet Band.

Costume judging was performed by an anonymous guest amongst us and trophies were awarded as follows:

Best North End Theme:  Sylvia DiNunzio – Italian gypsy lady

Prettiest:  Lauren Nelson as a Suffragette

Funniest:  John LoRusso as an Error Message

Best Couple:  Bonnie and Ed Denison as Eleanor and Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Scariest:  Barbara Mikolajczak (spelled just like it sounds) as Derek Jeter

Halloweeniest:  Gina Prantil as Halloween

Congratulations to all the winners of the costume categories.  Next year’s date:  10/26/18.  We are all ready looking forward to it!
