Police Blotter: Burglary and Break-Ins in North End

This week’s Boston Police District A-1 police blotter highlights three break-in stories, two residential and one business in the North End neighborhood.

Breaking & Entering – Residential
09/29/17 6:00am – 4:30pm
Victim reports while she was at work an unknown person tore open the front screen and entered an open window of her Lewis Street residence. The apartment was in disarray but no property reported missing at this time.

Breaking & Entering – Residential
09/23/17 4:30pm
Victim reports she observed the known suspect on her phone video inside her Commercial Street apartment while at work. There was no sign of forced entry but the suspect stole numerous pieces of jewelry. Detectives to seek complaints.

Burglary / Commercial
09/21/17    10:00pm – 7:00am
Victim reports an unknown person forced open the side slider window of her Thacher St.  restaurant. The suspect once inside  damaged plates and broke the cash register and stole cash from it.

  1. Packages in Prince Street lobbies went missing every day for 2 weeks. Installed video camera and that was stolen too.
