Peter Lin-Marcus for District 2 City Council Speaks at Ward 3 Candidates Night

Peter Lin-Marcus, running for District 2 City Council, spoke at the Ward 3 Democratic Committee’s Candidates Night on Wednesday, June 21st.

Marcus began his time at the Candidates Night by informing people that he is not a professional politician. He says he is running for city council to “Restore the American Dream especially for people in District 2.”

Marcus spent a year teaching at the Harvard Kent Elementary School in Charlestown. After teaching at Harvard Kent Elementary, Marcus went to Generations Incorporated. If elected City Councilor, Marcus wants the City of Boston to guarantee that in five years, all students will graduate from Boston Public Schools. Marcus wants the city to guarantee a pathway to home ownership as well.
