10:30am Children’s Garden Reading Party at North End Library. Celebrate the joy of stories and reading at the 12th Annual Agrippina Fagone Scaduto Bender Garden Party, featuring storyteller Big Joe, who will entertain with his laugh-out-loud-funny, adventurous tales! Located at 25 Parmenter Street, more information.
10:30am Mahjong (American Style) at North End Library. Located at 25 Parmenter Street, come and play the American-style variant of this tile-based game that originated in China and requires skill, strategy, and calculation. The cost is free, beginners are welcome. No sign up is required.
6:00pm NE Public Safety Meeting – Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet St. Attended by Boston Police Area A-1, all North End / Waterfront residents are welcome to attend!
7:00pm Faithkeepers Movie Event. Movie presentation of Faithkeepers. In the Middle East, the birthplace of Christianity, Christians and other minorities are being violently persecuted, driven out of their homes, and killed. The North End Historical Society is pleased to host Essdras Suarez, Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photojournalist, for a an hour lecture and presentation entitled “Through the Eyes of the Photojournalist,” view the event posting.
10:30am I Piccoli Lettori. Join I AM Books for its Italian reading group for little ones! Children (0-4) and their parents will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning. Located at I AM Books, 189 North Street.
11:00am Greenway Open Market. The Greenway Open Market is a vibrant open-air artisan market featuring talented area artists, crafters, and independent designers. Visitors will find exceptional art, locally produced products, and much more! 11:30am North End Yoga. On Hanover Street & Cross Street, North End Yoga is excited to once again present Summer in the City: a free Yoga and Pilates Fusion event on Saturday, June 3rd. Classes will kick off with Jennifer Phelan leading you through her signature 30 minute Pilates Fusion workout. Joanna Benevides will follow with a refreshing 45 minute Vinyasa Flow. All levels of students are welcome to participate in one or both classes for a beautiful blend of a mind/ body experience. More information.

Festa della Repubblica Italiana Celebration on June 4th at Christopher Columbus Park. Join us on June 4, 2017 at Christopher Columbus Park to celebrate the 71th anniversary of Festa della Repubblica Italiana, Italian Republic Day.
