Obituary: Giuseppe “Joe the Tailor” DiPrisco of Boston’s North End

Giuseppe “Joe the Tailor” DiPrisco of Boston’s North End on May 24, 2017. Beloved husband of Grazia (DeLuca) DiPrisco. Loving father of Rinaldo “Ronnie” DiPrisco of the North End, Lena Guarino and her late husband Virginio of the North End, Paola Guarino and her husband Aurelio of Mirabella Eclano, Italy, and Caterina “Ketti” DiPrisco of the North End. Cherished grandfather of Giuseppe, Cristian and Andrea Guarino. Adored animal companions Margarita, Honey and Nico. Dear brother of the late Luigina Sorrentino and Victorio DiPrisco. Loving uncle of Gina Register of Revere and Pasquale Sorrentino of Scituate. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 4-8pm in the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., Boston on Tuesday at 11am. To join procession to the church on Tuesday, please be at the funeral by 10am. Services will conclude with entombment in St. Michael Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Leonard Renovation Fund, 320 Hanover St., Boston, MA 02113. In honor of our father’s affection for the color pink, please feel free to wear something pink in his tribute.
