North End’s Donato Frattaroli Jr. Serves as Honorary Co-Chair at NF Northeast’s “Table for TEN” Event

On April 5, Burlington-based NF Northeast (Neurofibromatosis Northeast) hosted their 18th annual “Table for TEN” event at over 20 restaurants in Boston. Donato Frattaroli, Jr., proprietor of Il Molo restaurant in the North End, served as the evening’s honorary co-chair alongside Dan Andelman. Frattaroli’s father, Donato Sr., has been a longtime supporter of NF Northeast and held the title of honorary co-chair in 2011.

After the groups of ten dined at their respective establishment, the NF supporters gathered at the UMASS Club for a dessert reception, live music by Ancient Mysteries, and an auction hosted by “Table for TEN” honorary co-chair and Phantom Gourmet host, Dan Andelman. Proceeds from “Table for TEN” fund scientific research at the Center for Human Genetic Research at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as provide support to the NF clinics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. The research will help find the cure for NF, a genetic disorder that can cause learning disabilities, seizures, brain tumors, deafness, vision impairment and cancer.
