Mayor Walsh Visits the Eliot K-8 Innovation School

On Wednesday March 8th, Mayor Marty Walsh visited the Eliot K-8 Innovation School! We were very excited to have him in the North End and honored to have him present Principal Traci with a commendation for 10 years as the Proud Principal of The Eliot School.

Principal Traci also took the Mayor to visit the new Upper School campus on North Bennett Street along with State Representative Aaron Michlewicz and Eliot School parent and Boston Transportation Director of Operations Stephen Passcantilli. They were impressed with the building and excited for the Eliot community to begin their learning there next year.

After the tour of the Upper School, our special guests enjoyed recess at 16 Charter Street with our spectacular students and impressed our Kindergarteners with their football skills. Mayor Walsh also visited classrooms in the lower school and even shared a piece of Pizzeria Regina’s pizza made by the students in the green room. We loved hosting these special guests and hope they will come back to see us again soon.

Go Team Eliot!
