Enjoy perusing these photos from the North End Seniors Valentine’s Day party held last Tuesday at the Nazzaro Community Center.

The seniors received lunch from Mayor Marty Walsh & the Boston Elderly Commission. Seniors also enjoyed socializing with special guest, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans.

Flowers and candy were presented by our local elected delegation including Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Councilor Sal LaMattina, and Senator Joe Boncore.

Mayor Walsh boosted Boston’s housing goals by 30%, now targeting 69,000 more units by the year 2030. The estimate of the city’s population growth has increased from approximately 710,000 to 760,000 by that time.
