The US National Weather Service in Boston has issued Winter Weather Advisories as snow develops from west to east Tuesday afternoon with a period of heavy snow possible late afternoon and evening which will affect the evening commute.
We are expecting a widespread 4 to 6 inches of snow Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. The snow is expected to be rather fluffy. The first flakes should reach the Boston area by 4 PM.
