Serving up healthy homemade dog treats and speciality pet items, Polkadog Bakery recently opened at 57 Salem Street in Boston’s North End. With chicken and cod being among the best sellers, most of these natural dog treats are made right here in Boston. In their facility on the Fish Pier in the Seaport, Polkadog makes their treats with ingredients sourced from all around the area. Whether it is their peanut butter from Everett, or the chicken from Somerville, the company has certainly evolved since their start as a cookie company for dog biscuits.

Originally opening in the South End in 2002, the North End is their fifth location in the area, with others in Jamaica Plain, Chestnut Hill and Lynn. In addition to the treats and locally made products, they also carry smoked goods that are sourced from Texas and all over the Mid-West, with everything from cow knuckles, to goat horns, turkey feet and many more! Being a non-corporate pet shop, they feature ultra premium dog food that is only available in boutique pet shops, many of their products are not even available on the big online sites. All Polkadog products are available on their website, where they wholesale their products all over the US and across the globe.
A plethora of accessories are in stock, such as harnesses, dog leashes, bowties and sweaters, there is no limit to what you can buy for your little friend!
