Loyal human supporters and their pet companions participated in six categories at the Second Annual RUFF Fundraiser Dog Show that kept us smiling and laughing!

And Natalie did! She beat out nine other RUFF contestants in our Second Annual RUFF Fundraiser Dog Show this past Saturday.
Seventeen year old Freeway from the Post Gazette, won the Unique Trick category by singing a short aria!

Porter, our English Bull Dog puppy won the costume category as a “brindle pumpkin.”
Our 14 year old Yorkie, Eliot looked and acted like a 3yr old but, this year she took the title of Golden Oldie at 13yrs young!
Aida and her guardian Jeremy, had to be talked into entering the Look Alike contest so, see what you think! Yes, they were winners!

Copper, the ultimate representative of a “mutt,” who may have been part Boxer, Shepherd, Ziti, Rigatoni and who knows what else, took the Magazine Mutt category.

Yeah, for all our mutts and purebreds who support RUFF’s efforts! Thanks to all our participants both human and pets.  YOU’RE THE BEST AND WE COMPLIMENT YOU ON THE CARE, FUN AND NURTURING YOU OFFER YOUR COMPANION PETS.

Least we forget our judges, Sonny Mirabella, Rosemary McAuliffe, Michelle Morgan, John Pregmon  and Phil Orlandella.  A gracious thank you goes out to our donors & sponsors for our 2016 Dog Show:  Bricco, W. Carlton Hat Makers, Cirace, Crate Escape, Fiorelli Real Estate, Monica’s, PolkaDog Bakery and Unleashed Petco Charlestown.  Thank you for your gifts in kind, financial and emotional support as we move forward toward our ultimate goal of creating a safe environment for our neighborhood pets.  RUFF has a commitment to our community to GIVE BACK!  With that said we must continue to raise funds to support the idea of a permanent/safe dog park .  We do that with inventing creative ideas and events that will continue to bring in  revenue.

UPCOMING EVENTS:  HORDEN HEALTH, SATURDAY, October 29th.  Join us at our Snowhill/Prince Streets Dog Park for a HUMAN workout class to benefit RUFF.

SERENITY IN THE CITY, MEDFORD MA, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11.  WELLNESS EVENT  to benefit RUFF. Natalie, Rusty, Copper, Porter and Freeway will not be joining us BUT, here’s an opportunity for friends, dog owners and not, to take advantage of some “very special offers” at this FULL SERVICE SPA.  Book a 30 minute facial, pedicure or message and, enjoy our hosts’ discounted values.
