The Celebrity Series of Boston is bringing back Street Pianos Boston from Sept 23-Oct 10, 2016. The pianos are part of an exhibit called Play Me, I’m Yours, created by artist Luke Jerram. There will be 60 pianos placed around Boston and Cambridge, including two pianos in the North End.

There will be a piano at the Old North Church and on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in North End Park at Hanover Street.

Sixty local artists have been hard at work, painting the pianos that will line the streets as part of the popular art installation. The artistic work was completed at the Innovation and Design Building (IDB) in Boston and the pianos are currently being tuned up with the support of current students and recent graduates from the North Bennet Street School.
