106th Fisherman’s Feast Opening Ceremony [Photos]

The 106th Fisherman’s Feast kicked off this weekend in Boston’s North End on North, Fleet and Lewis Streets. The statue of La Madonna Del Soccorso di Sciacca emerged from her permanent chapel for a solemn procession to Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park for the Annual Blessing of the Fishing Waters. Opening night of the 96th Saint Anthony’s Feast brought out thousands of devotees to watch the gold-adorned statue emerge on Endicott Street.
